Arrival & Departure

Which airport will I land at?

How do I get from the airport to Underberg?

We recommend arranging transport through the tourism center in Underberg. We’ll help you organize and book this transfer.

History

Is there something special about Underberg’s history?

Underberg was founded in 1917 with the connection to the railway network and is still strongly rooted in agriculture today – especially dairy and livestock farming.

What should I know about South Africa’s history?

South Africa has a turbulent past, shaped by colonialism and apartheid, which only ended in 1994 with the election of Nelson Mandela. Since then, the country has been undergoing continuous social transformation.
